Lesson 44 - To need/require (ܣܢܩ)

VERB: TO NEED/REQUIRE
VERB ROOT: S-N-Q (ܣܢܩ)
TENSE: PAST/PRETERITE
INFINITIVE:

[Singular]
I needed: āna sniq-ly
You (m) require: sniq-lookh
You (f) needed: sniq-lakh
He required: sniq-lih
She needed: sniq-lah

[Plural]
We required - sniq-lan
Ye needed - sniq-lokhoon
They required - sniq-lay

Example Sentence: We needed to talk with him - Akhny Sniq-lan ma ḥ-koyi im-ih

Example Sentence: I need some food (k-san-qin khussa booshala)

Example Sentence: She used to need help cooking takhratha, but now she can prepare most food herself.  k-sanqa-wa 'on bashole takhratha, bas daha eeba dmahidh-ra kabyra y-khala l-kho-dhah.
